Anthropic Rebrands Developer Platform Under the Claude Name

Anthropic has announced that it is bringing all of its developer tools and resources under a single brand: Claude. From now on, the company’s APIs, documentation, and support will carry the Claude name rather than Anthropic.

What Changed

  • Anthropic Platform is now Claude Developer Platform

  • Anthropic API is now Claude API

  • Anthropic Console is now Claude Console (accessible at platform.claude.com and console.anthropic.com until December 16, 2025)

  • Anthropic Docs are now Claude Docs (available at docs.claude.com)

  • Anthropic Help Center is now Claude Help Center (support.claude.com)

What Stays the Same

For developers, nothing changes technically.

  • API endpoints remain the same

  • Headers and environment variables are unchanged

  • SDKs continue to function as before

  • No code updates or prompt migrations are required

Why It Matters

This move consolidates Anthropic’s presence under the Claude brand, making it easier for developers and businesses to recognize the platform. Instead of splitting attention between the corporate name and the product name, everything now points to Claude.

It is also a signal of confidence from Anthropic that Claude has become strong enough as a standalone brand to represent the entire developer ecosystem.
